Borja Gomez Rojo, Managing DirectorLinkedIn Profile Borja Gomez Rojo is a second year MBA student at the Boston University School of Management with a concentration in Strategy & Business Analysis and Entrepreneurship. Borja is an engineer who has worked as an International Business Developer for a leading multinational green energy company and a former Solar R&D project manager. He was also Field Engineer for an NGO in Tanzania. He received his MS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Seville in Spain.

Humberto Silva, Managing DirectorLinkedIn Profile Humberto Silva is a first year candidate for an MBA with concentration in Operations and Strategy & Business Analysis and an MS in Information Systems in Boston University School of Management. He is an Electrical Engineer who has specialized in manufacturing and operations working in this field for more than 6 years. Specifically he had expertise in lean operations, continuous improvement methodologies and project management. Humberto is interested in exploring the clean technologies industry, specifically the energy sector. Upon graduation he hopes to leverage his technical and business knowledge to contribute to solve sustainability issues with the use of adequate technologies.

Betsy Carlton-Gysan, ConsultantLinkedIn Profile Betsy is a second-year candidate for an MBA with concentrations in Marketing and Strategy & Business Analysis and an MS in Information Systems. She holds a BA from New York University where she studied Politics and Women’s Studies. Before beginning BU’s Graduate School of Management, she served in the political sector for over a decade, including marketing and development positions at several environmental policy organizations and a stint on Capitol Hill. She has also consulted for several corporations on issues pertaining to technology marketing strategy, from start-ups to Fortune 300. Upon graduation, Betsy hopes to leverage her experience to advance the development and adoption of clean technology.

Jaime Bustamante, ConsultantLinkedIn Profile Jaime Bustamante is a 1st year MBA student at Boston University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. Jaime is a career switcher as he is hoping to switch from the Aerospace industry to the Green Energy industry. He has always had a keen interest in the environment and sustainability issues and he hopes to work for a global green energy company in the future.

Smaro Panagiotidou, Consultant
Smaro is a graduate student in the Center of Energy and Environmental Studies at Boston University. She holds a BA in Biology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki where she focused in Environmental Biology. She is particularly interested in Renewable Energy Sources. In the past she worked as an Environmental Analyst as well as a Volunteer in Greece and in China. Upon graduation from the MA program, Smaro hopes to pursue a career in the field of Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development.

Marc McGuigan, ConsultantLinkedIn Profile Marc is a graduate student in the Boston University Physics Department and is working toward a Ph.D. in the Optical Characterization and Nanophotonics lab. Phyllis Ottaviano, ConsultantLinkedIn Profile Phyllis Ottaviano graduated in 2008 from Boston University School of Medicine with a Ph.D. degree from the dual Cell & Molecular Biology/Molecular Medicine Programs. During her graduate work she studied the role of a key extracellular antioxidant selenoprotein in thrombosis and stroke. She then went on to do a Research Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School in cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure. Phyllis’s hobbies include travel, hiking, dance, indoor rock climbing, movies, and reading. She currently serves on the board of the Boston-area Young Alumni Club for Boston University.
