One of the core missions of the Office of Technology Development is to encourage an entrepreneurial culture at Boston University by educating faculty and students about technology commercialization. We achieve this through a number of mechanisms:
Speaking at faculty, departmental and student meetings
We welcome the opportunity to speak at faculty, departmental and student meetings and, given adequate notice, we will always provide a speaker for any faculty or student group.
Faculty Boot Camp
The schedule for the 2006 Boot Camp has now been set.
The Technology Commercialization Course
In Spring 2006 the Technology Commercialization Course will be taught in the School of Management from 6-9pm on Monday nights.
Internships
OTD has an active program of internships and is proud of the track record of our interns in their subsequent careers in technology management. We offer paid internships to graduate students in the School of Management, science schools and the Center for Science and Medical Journalism in the College of Communications. We typically require a commitment of at least 10 hours per week during the semester and at least 30 hours per week in the summer.
