Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) — Special Focus Competition: College Course Materials Rental Initiative
OBJECTIVES:
The FIPSE program provides funding to improve postsecondary education opportunities by focusing on problem areas or improvement approaches in postsecondary education. This particular program is a Special Focus Competition to support projects that propose innovative efforts to increase opportunities for students to rent college course materials.
DEADLINE: August 3, 2009
FUNDING INFORMATION:
The Department expects to make approximately 40 awards at $100,000–$150,000 for a one-year project period or $200,000–$300,000 for a two-year project period. Applications that propose a budget exceeding $150,000 for one-year project period or $300,000 for a two-year project period will be rejected.
