AGENCY: The Medical Foundation/Deborah Munroe Noonan Memorial Research Fund

PROGRAM: Noonan Memorial Fund Grants for Improvement of Children and Adolescent Quality of Life

OBJECTIVES: This program provides funding for innovative clinical and service system research, demonstration projects, and pilot studies in the greater Boston area designed to improve the quality of life for children and adolescents (0-23 years old) with disabilities.

Proposals for basic science research will not be considered nor will applications for capital costs such as buildings, renovations, or major equipment items. Drug trials are rarely supported by the Noonan Research Fund. The Noonan Fund does not fund primary prevention projects.

DEADLINE: February 1, 2012, Noon Eastern

FUNDING INFORMATION: This program will award, on average, five projects per year. Projects may request up to $78,000 for a period of one year. Funding amount is inclusive of a 10% overhead rate.
