In response to recent legislation, many Federal grantmaking agencies have developed, or are in the process of developing, web-based systems for the submission of grant applications and the management of post-award activities. In addition, several non-Federal agencies are developing similar electronic systems. Each of these systems is structured differently. Investigators planning to submit a proposal through an online submission system should work closely with the OSP Assistant Director assigned to their school or department to coordinate the preparation and submission of the proposal.
