Lease Terms

Most Boston University apartments require a twelve month Fixed Term Lease. However due to building particulars some buildings require different rental agreements. Samples of all agreements are listed below along with the terms and conditions relative to each property.

Fixed Term Lease is required for all apartments with the exception of the buildings listed below with their designated rental agreements.

License Agreement is required for all apartments at 14 Buswell Street (Warren Hall).

Tenancy-At-Will (TAW) is required for all rooms and apartments leased at 183 Bay State Road, 85 and 87 St. Mary’s Street.

Harrison Court Fixed Term Lease is required for all apartments leased at 761 Harrison Avenue (Harrison Court). Harrison Court is located at the Medical Campus.

580 Commonwealth Avenue Fixed Term Lease is required for all apartments leased at the Residences at 580 Commonwealth Avenue.
