PARENT ORIENTATION
The Parent Orientation program is designed to provide detailed and comprehensive information about Boston University to the parents of incoming students. Parents who attend Orientation will learn about their daughter's or son's new home and have a chance to meet with academic representatives from the Schools and Colleges, students, faculty, staff, and the Dean of Students. This program also features presentations on University services and facilities, student success programs, a luncheon with faculty and staff, discussions with returning students, and more.
Parents pay a $100 per person Orientation fee, which includes a luncheon, a reception on Thursday evening, a continental breakfast on Friday, and all other programs and materials. The Orientation fee for those ages 15 or younger is $30 and will include organized activities in the Siblings Orientation program. Siblings or guests who are over 15 will be charged $100.
