International Peer Mentor
International Peer Mentors facilitate new international students’ transition to academic and social life at Boston University and in the United States of America. International Peer Mentors benefit from the program by gaining leadership skills, learning more about the university and developing professional skills. Working in pairs, mentors will lead a group of new international students through their first semester at Boston University. They do so with a series of events and regular check-ins with mentees. This program is co-hosted by the Office of the Dean of Students, Residence Life, and Orientation. To apply to be an International Peer Mentor, please review the 2015 IPM Information Packet & Application, and submit a typed and completed version to Boston University Orientation. Orientation is located in the basement of the George Sherman Union across from the Howard Thurman Center.
