At the recommendation of the Laboratory Safety Committees, Boston University has instituted a new award that will recognize faculty, instructors, or staff members who have shown outstanding long-term success in establishing and maintaining a strong safety record in undergraduate teaching and research labs. The Laboratory Safety Committees are charged with the identification of the recipients and the implementation of the program.
