Research Support Quality Assessment Program (RS-QAP)

The RS-QAP is designed to ensure that our research support programs provide timely, efficient and investigator-focused services through the use of fully integrated administrative processes and state-of-the-art technological tools. The initiative will evaluate our processes and identify areas that can be streamlined, provide better integration between the programs in order to eliminate duplication, and establish performance metrics for each unit within the Research Compliance office.

As a systematic quality improvement, the initiative will use the standard quality management approach of Plan-Do-Check-Act.

  • Plan: Develop programs and services designed to support the research enterprise and ensure compliance.
  • Do: Implement the programs.
  • Check: Evaluate the efficacy of the programs using quantifiable performance metrics and check performance based on the established metrics.
  • Act: Review the performance metrics; identify deviations from the norm and modify programs or operations accordingly.

For more details, please visit the RS-QAP website.
