Through the Boston University Online Undergraduate Degree Completion Program (UDCP), students who are prepared to complete a high-quality bachelor’s degree can do so alongside other accomplished, motivated, mature students—the program’s online format allows students to accomplish their goals without disrupting personal, family, and professional commitments.

The UDCP is a unique opportunity to develop a thorough understanding of the humanities, the social sciences, and the fundamentals of natural science—disciplines that are highly valued in today’s business climate, where success often depends on interpersonal awareness, critical thinking skills, and human factors. Students who complete the sixteen courses that comprise the UDCP will graduate from Boston University with a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Throughout the UDCP curriculum, students will:

• Acquire an understanding of literature and history through focused themes
• Gain full proficiency in writing through individual and collaborative work
• Learn how to apply the liberal arts to the real world
• Engage in courses that take a creative and manageable approach to academic subjects, like Food Stuff: A Taste of Biology, Exploring Philosophy through Film, and China, the Emerging Superpower: A Model for Development?
