Overview

The MS specialization in International Marketing Management is designed specifically for students who hold the Boston University Graduate Diploma in International Marketing.

The MS in International Marketing Management is a unique opportunity for those who have earned the graduate diploma to combine a mastery of general management principles in accounting, finance, operations, and leadership with expertise in global marketing strategies.

By completing only eight courses, graduates of the MS in International Marketing Management will gain the advanced management knowledge required to handle high-level responsibilities and to achieve career advancement. Graduates will be able to apply best practices in management in order to lead their organizations and successfully:

  • Design global marketing strategies for small, medium, and large companies
  • Analyze the complexities of the global consumer market, e-commerce, business-to-business, and strategic supply chain management
  • Conduct market research
  • Apply Internet technology to marketing, business strategies, structures, and processes
  • Assess the role of marketing in the development of new products and services
  • Utilize cutting-edge techniques in the areas of advertising, public relations, and publicity

Requirements: Students must complete the eight MS in (Specialty) Management core courses in. In addition, students must hold the Boston University Graduate Diploma in International Marketing in order to earn the MS in International Marketing. Boston University will recognize credits earned toward the graduate diploma as the equivalent of the specialization requirements for the Master of Science in Human Resources Management.
