Welcome to the Office of the General Counsel (“OGC”), the in-house legal office for Boston University which reports to the Office of the President. Vice President and General Counsel Todd L.C. Klipp is the University’s chief legal officer, and under his leadership the office has responsibility for all legal matters affecting the University. The mission of OGC is to provide our University clients the highest quality legal advice and representation and thereby assist them in achieving their goals.
The OGC website was created to help members of the Boston University community to become more familiar with our office and services. If you receive any legal documents or notices relating to the University, such as subpoenas, complaints, or notices of legal proceedings or hearings, please forward them to our office immediately.
