Boston Medical Center supports a full service tertiary care center for Labor and Delivery. Last year 2600 babies were delivered here!  Patients are cared for by a team of health care providers, including Obstetricians, Family Medicine physicians and Certified Nurse Midwives, to ensure individualized care and patient safety. Our unit provides 24/7 anesthesia coverage for labor epidural and surgical anesthesia, as well as pediatricians and neonatologists to care for our babies.  We have special expertise in caring for women with maternal or fetal complications in pregnancy.
