The Metropolitan College

Message from the Dean

Dear Students,

As Metropolitan College celebrates its 40th anniversary, we invite you to join our next generation of graduates. The lives of over twenty thousand MET alumni worldwide have been transformed by their educational experiences—now is your opportunity as well. Take a course or enroll in a degree program. Stretch your mind, and improve your life. In our knowledge economy, what you know determines how far you will go.

Learning is a commitment, and graduation a major achievement. Higher education is not a spectator sport— your active participation will determine the quality of the learning experience for you and your fellow students.

MET has stood for excellence, access, and innovation over its four decades. Your classes will be rigorous and relevant, as well as engaging and inspiring. We are prepared to be your partner on this journey as you realize your potential both personally and professionally. MET offers over seven hundred courses each year to over 3,600 students locally, nationally, and internationally.

I look forward to shaking your hand on stage at MET’s graduation when you, too, join our alumni community.

Sincerely,

Jay A. Halfond
Dean
Metropolitan College and
Extended Education

We invite you to learn more about our programs by attending an information session (visit Metropolitan College for dates and times).
