Hardin Coleman, PhD

Dean of School of Education
Hardin Coleman was named Dean of the School of Education in March 2008 and came to BU with a focus on the development of school-based interventions, supporting the academic achievement of culturally diverse youth and equipping students and professionals to effectively counsel and serve the needs of culturally diverse children and adolescents. Now, Dean Coleman is aiming to make being an educator as attractive as becoming a lawyer, geneticist, or engineer by reducing the financial sacrifice of higher education through partnerships with institutions such as the Boston Public Schools and other schools of education.
