Middle aged people are doubling their risk of dying early by binge drinking, even when they consume amounts within weekly recommended levels, research has warned. A study of hundreds of people aged between 55 and 65 found that those who overindulge on a night out or at the weekend were twice as likely to die within 20 years as moderate drinkers…
