Boston Medical Center Appoints New Neurosurgeon

(Boston)- Justin Massengale, MD, has been appointed an attending physician in the Department of Neurosurgery at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and will be recommended for the position of assistant professor of neurosurgery at Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM).

Massengale, a resident of Brookline, received his medical degree from Stanford University Medical School in California, where he also completed his residency in neurosurgery.

Massengale’s expertise lies in the management of patients with spinal malignancy, trauma and degenerative disease requiring complex spinal instrumentation and reconstruction, as well as potential applications of minimally invasive and minimal access surgical techniques.

Prior to his appointment at BMC, Massengale completed a fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center in spine neurosurgery. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons. To make an appointment, please call (617) 638-8992.
