(Boston)-Boston resident Thomas A. Einhorn, MD, chief of orthopaedic surgery at Boston Medical Center (BMC) was recently named one of America’s Top Doctors by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.

Einhorn, a professor and chair of orthopaedic surgery at Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM), received his medical degree from Cornell University and completed a residency in general surgery at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in NY, and a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Saint Luke’s–Roosevelt Hospital Center at Columbia University. Einhorn served as a clinical and research fellow in metabolic bone disease and orthopaedic research at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NY.
His research interests have focused on the biology of skeletal repair and regeneration as well as reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee and orthopaedic surgery in metabolic bone disease.
