(Boston)–Brookline resident Jeffrey Zarin, MD, has been appointed to the position of orthopaedic surgeon in the department of orthopaedic surgery at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and will be recommended for assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM).

Zarin received his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, Calif., and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Harvard University.

Zarin’s clinical expertise is in adult total joint arthroplasty of the hip and knee, as well as knee and minimally invasive hip replacement. Zarin’s research interests include partial knee anthroplasty in relation to new implants and clinical applications.

Prior to his appointments, Zarin completed a fellowship in adult total joint arthroplasty at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Zarin is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Massachusetts Orthopedic Association. He is now accepting new patients, to make an appointment, please call 617-638-5633.
