BUSM Professor and Needham Resident to Speak at Medical School’s Commencement

(Boston) – Needham resident, Dick A.J. Brown, MD, clinical associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM) and obstetrician/gynecologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC), will deliver BUSM’s commencement address on May 14.

Brown, who has served on the BUSM faculty since 1984, is also director of Student Education in the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology at BMC and assistant clinical professor of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive biology at Harvard Medical School.

He has received numerous teaching awards and honors, including nomination for the 2001 Association of American Medical Colleges Humanism in Medicine Award, the Frederick Jackson Award for outstanding teacher in the clinical sciences and the Stanley L. Robbins Award for excellence in teaching.
