(Boston) — The Boston University in Brussels program will celebrate the grand opening of its new campus for graduate programs in international business on Tuesday, September 27. The new campus, located at 174 Boulevard du Triomphe in the heart of the university district in Brussels, reflects the tradition of excellence that distinguishes Boston University in Brussels as a world-class institution of learning. The facilities feature state-of-the-art classrooms with wireless Internet access, executive meeting spaces, and convenient access.

Boston University’s Metropolitan College has had programs in Brussels since 1972, and is the American academic institution with the longest presence in Belgium. The graduate programs in international business follow the American style of education found at Metropolitan College’s U.S. campus. This involves a hands-on, pragmatic approach to learning that provides students with skills and knowledge immediately applicable to their careers.

“With the establishment of its new campus in Brussels, Boston University’s Metropolitan College continues its commitment to offer students beyond the university’s borders the highest quality international continuing education,” said Deborah Rhea, director of the Brussels program.

The grand opening of the new campus will kick off with an open house attended by Dean Jay Halfond of the BU’s Metropolitan College. For more information on the new campus and the Brussels Program, please access the following link: http://www.bu.edu/brussels/.
