This year’s event will be centered on child safety, and various agencies will participate by demonstrating and educating children on safety issues. The Governor’s Highway Safety Bureau will sponsor and conduct a child safety seat checkpoint, with certified technicians inspecting cars from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. In addition, the fair will feature fun activities for the children, such as face painting, amusements, refreshments, handouts, and live cartoon characters.

The BUPD will also raffle bicycles and prizes donated by area businesses, including the Ninety-Nine Restaurant, Toys ‘R Us, Pepsi Cola, and the Ski Market. Raffle proceeds will benefit the Children’s Hospital.
