Boston University to Host Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration

(Boston, Mass.) — Boston University will host its sixteenth annual Celebration of the Life of the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 15, 2001. The featured speaker will be Rev. Prathia L. Hall, Ph.D., associate professor of social ethics at Boston University’s School of Theology. The celebration will also include selected readings and musical pieces.

The celebration will be held at the University’s George Sherman Union, 775 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, from 1 p.m. — 2:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
