Boston University Hosts Screening of Arthur Cohn’s Academy Award-winning Documentary "One Day in September" Six-time Academy Award Winning Producer Arthur Cohn to Introduce Film

(Boston, Mass.) — Boston University will host a special screening of producer Arthur Cohn’s “One Day in September,” a documentary detailing the massacre at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, on Thursday, September 7 at 6:30 p.m.

“One Day in September,” the winner of the 2000 Oscar for Best Documentary Feature, reveals the untold story behind the killing of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Cohn, a six-time Oscar-winning producer and recipient of an Honorary Doctors of Fine Arts degree from Boston University, will have a Q & A session immediately following the screening.

Produced by Cohn and directed by Kevin MacDonald, the film is narrated by Academy Award-winning actor Michael Douglas.

The screening will be held at the University’s George Sherman Union, 775 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston. The event is free and open to the public. A limited number of tickets are available; call the University Information Center at 617/353-2169 for more information.
