Karen D. Sullivan
Fifth-Year Clinical Student
Birthplace: Ocean Gate, New Jersey.
B.A. Clark University, 2000.
M.A. Boston University, 2006.
My primary research interests are in visual cognition and how deficits in basic vision and visual processing may influence the daily functioning of people living with neurodegenerative disorders, particularly Alzheimer's and Parkinson’s disease. I am especially interested in designing visual interventions that may enhance quality of life for these populations. I am also focused on refining my skills in the Boston Process Approach to neuropsychological assessment (click here to see me in action) and conducting integrative psychotherapy with neurologically impaired populations.
I am currently an intern at the Boston Consortium Clinical Psychology Internship Program in the Neuropsychology rotation and am working on my dissertation.
Claim to fame: President of Bon Jovi Fanclub circa 1987 (Don't believe me? Click here to view the shocking truth).
