Molecular Biotechnology Research Laboratory
Cassandra Smith is a Primary Faculty Professor at Boston University’s Biomedical Engineering Department. She is the Director of the Molecular Biotechnology Research Laboratory (MBRL) in the College of Engineering and the Deputy Director for the Center for Advance Biotechnology (CAB). She is part of the Biology Department in the College of Art and Science, and Pharmacology in the School of Medicine.
Her work outside academia includes her position as Editor-in-Chief, Biomolecular Engineering for the publication: Elsevier, the largest publisher of medical and scientific literature.
