Earth Day River Clean-Up

Looking to get out on the Charles? Love Mother Nature? Want to learn more about FitTreks Outdoor Programs? This fun Earth Day event has it all! Join us for the launch of FitTreks Outdoor Programs and a celebration of Earth Day! During this free event, we will kayak the Charles River and remove litter from our local environment! There will be two outings on Saturday, April 20 from 10 am – 12 pm and 1 pm – 3 pm, and one outing on Monday, April 22 from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Please be prepared for the weather, and bring extra layers. Your clothes may get slightly wet/dirty during the clean-up, so we recommend wearing old clothes. Work gloves will be provided. Since we will be picking up trash, we recommend all participants be up-to-date on Tetanus and other vaccinations. We will meet at the BU Boathouse at the start of each event. We hope to see you there!
