Battling Ebola: NEIDL’s Role

As the worst Ebola outbreak on record continues to spread disease and death through several West African countries, public interest in infectious disease research is spiking. BU Today spoke about research conducted at BU’s National Emerging Infectious Disease Laboratories (NEIDL) with two infectious disease experts: Ronald Corley, NEIDL associate director, Medical Campus associate provost for research, and a MED professor and chair of microbiology; and John R. Murphy, director ad interim at the NEIDL and a professor of medicine and microbiology.
