MVP faculty are acknowledged leaders in educating health care managers and providers about the tools and techniques of Operations Management (OM) and how to apply them to various health care settings to improve the cost and quality of care.
Highlights of these activities include:
- Dr. Litvak serves as faculty for the expanding community of health care providers and managers that participate in IHI’s Flow Domain.
- MVP faculty has taught in Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) sponsored educational programs on Quality of Care and ED Overcrowding.
- MVP faculty has lectured in numerous national and international forums on improving health care delivery processes through management of variability.
