MVP faculty and consultants offer consultative services to a range of other health care providers including primary care practices (PCPs), laboratories, and rehabilitation facilities/skilled nursing facilities, as well as other health care providers interested in assessing and/or improving their operational processes and services. The Operations Management (OM) tools and techniques and Variability Methodology (VM) deployed by the MVP have application in many health care settings where patient flow, throughput, and operational efficiencies are critical in assuring quality services are provided in a cost-effective manner. MVP faculty and consultants also provide consultation to public agencies and private organizations and associations who are interested in assessing and implementing operational improvements and initiatives that impact health care policy and delivery at the local, state, national and international level.
