Steven D. Booth
Steven D. Booth is a first-year M.S. student at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at Simmons College, with a concentration in Archives Management.Booth is a graduate of Dr. King’s alma mater Morehouse College where he received a B.A. in Music. He is a 2007 Mellon Scholar through the Mellon Librarian Recruitment Program at Woodruff Library-Atlanta University Center. Booth has interned at the library and archives of Simmons College, New England Conservatory of Music, and the Center for Black Music Research in Chicago. His interests include the preservation and the dissemination of information about the history of black music.
