The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Cataloguing and Electronic Finding Aid Project
A grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has enabled the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center at Boston University to begin a two-year project to reorganize its Martin Luther King, Jr. Collection and create an electronic finding aid. Utilizing the new open-source software Archivists’ Toolkit, the staff will create an electronic finding aid searchable by subject heading or by name.
For the two-year duration of the cataloguing process, HGARC’s King Collection will be closed, effective November 1, 2007
