Peter Grant began his graduate studies at the University of Freiburg and received his MA in Modern German Literature from the University of Munich in Germany with minors in Germanic linguistics and psychology.  Additionally, he earned an MS in Mental Health Counseling from Salem State University and completed his BA at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with majors in German and psychology.  Peter teaches German courses at the Goethe-Institut Boston and at the German Saturday School Boston.  His interests include modern German literature and culture, second language acquisition, scholarly text translation, media studies, constructivism, and the psychology of attention and perception.
