Weijia Huang received BA in Chinese Language and Literature, and MA in History of Chinese Language with a research field in Chinese Paleography. He currently teaches Classical and Modern Chinese language at Boston University. Before coming to Boston University, he taught seven years at Harvard University, where he earned the Certificate of Distinction in Teaching from 1995 to 2002. And then he taught Classical and Modern Chinese language at Brown University for four years. He also taught courses at Middlebury Chinese Summer School for two years. His research interests include the history of Chinese language, Chinese paleography, the pedagogy of Chinese characters to foreign students, and teachers’ training. His publications include:
