Irena Katz Awarded Excellence in Part-time Teaching

Congratulations to lecturer of Russian, Irena Katz who was recognized at the concluding CAS Faculty meeting for her excellence in part-time teaching. 

Gisela Hoecherl-Alden, Assistant Dean and Director of Language Instruction share, “One of our recent majors, Alex Williams, who is now in a graduate program in Second Language Acquisition at Indiana Bloomington recently wrote to me fondly recalling his time learning Russian with Irena. Since he now teaches himself, he said he finds himself using some of the same strategies he has seen the language faculty use at BU.”
