Academics

The Department of Modern Languages and Comparative Literature offers instruction in German, Russian, East Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) and Near Eastern (Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Turkish) languages and literatures and in Comparative Literature. You can major and minor in many of these fields, and more possibilities will be added soon. The department is committed to undergraduate education, and students from across BU are welcome in our courses. Students majoring in other fields are invited to consider the advantages of adding an MLCL minor or a double major. See the menu at left for further information.
