Overview

The Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) emphasizes the basic tools and disciplines common in all administrative and managerial contexts, providing students with solid academic training in the general skills of management. The program complements the specialized professional skills that students may have acquired through formal education or work experience.

Coursework for the MSBA can be completed in approximately 20-24 months.

In some cases, students may fulfill degree requirements for the MSBA by enrolling in online courses through Metropolitan College. Please contact the local field office for more information.

Degree Requirements

The MSBA consists of ten 4-credit courses for a total of 40 credit hours.*

Students may earn the MSBA as well as the Graduate Certificate in Project Management by successfully completing a total of eleven courses. MSBA students who wish to earn the Graduate Certificate in Project Management should substitute the four project management core courses for their elective courses and MET OB 734 Human Behavior in Organizations.

Prerequisites
Students must demonstrate proficiency in the basic areas of computer spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications. Electives
Students choose two elective courses (8 credits) from available course offerings in the business area. The sequence of available courses depends on the scheduling cycle and the student’s point of entry into the program.
