About Metropolitan College
Boston University, the fourth-largest independent university in the U.S., is internationally regarded for scholarship and research. Currently, over 30,000 students from all fifty of the United States and 135 countries pursue undergraduate and advanced degrees under the direction of approximately 3,400 faculty members.
Metropolitan College (MET) is one of the 17 degree-granting bodies that make up Boston University. Since 1965, MET’s special purpose within the University has been to serve the needs of working adults and those whose busy schedules might otherwise prevent them from pursuing higher education. As part of fulfilling its mission, MET is proud to deliver Boston University programs in formats and locations that meet the needs of the military community.
MET has been offering programs for the military for over 20 years. With offices on the bases of Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts, and MCAS Cherry Point and MCAS New River/MCB Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, we are here to serve military personnel like you with graduate degree programs and flexible schedules that will help you advance your career.
