About Metropolitan College
Boston University, the fourth-largest independent university in the
U.S., is internationally regarded for scholarship and research. Currently,
almost 30,000 students from all fifty of the United States and 135
countries pursue undergraduate and advanced degrees under the direction
of approximately 3,400 faculty members.
Metropolitan College (MET) is one of the seventeen degree-granting
bodies that make up Boston University. Since 1965, MET’s special
purpose within the University has been to serve the needs of working
adults and those whose busy schedules might otherwise prevent them
from pursuing higher education. As part of fulfilling its mission,
MET is proud to deliver Boston University programs in formats and locations
that meet the needs of the military community.
