Short Biography of Ramesh Sivarajan
Ramesh Sivarajan is currently the Director of CNT Applications Development at Nano-C, inc and he brings in 12 years of experience in the development and applications of nanomaterials. Most recently Ramesh was manager of the Advanced Applications Group at Nantero Inc, where he pioneered the synthesis of CMOS® grade carbon nanotube formulations and the deposition of high density carbon nanotube films towards theirsuccessful wafer scale device integration. Previously, Ramesh served as a research scientist at Rice University, directly working for Prof. Richard Smalley, winner of the chemistry Nobel prize in 1996. Ramesh is an inventor on more than a dozen patents/patent applications and has authored or co-authored more than 30 journal publications. He obtained his Ph.D in Materials Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and received post-doctoral training in the area of nanomaterials at Israel, serving on a joint project of BIU, Technion and the Israel Aircrafts Industry. He has held a visiting scientist appointment at Cornell University prior to his stay at Rice. Ramesh's focus areas are manufacturing issues connected with advanced nanomaterials and their profitable commercialization.
