Short Biography of Mr. Steve Petter

Mr. Steve Petter is currently the Global Manufacturing Operations Manager at Teradyne in North Reading, MA. Steve has 24 years experience in Operations in Automatic Test Equipment including technical management, materials management, assembly/production, demand management, and product service organization management. Some of Steve's accomplishments include opening a plant in China, off shoring a test group to the Philippines, outsourcing testing to a Contract Manufacturer, implementing Lean manufacturing, reducing cycle times from 5 weeks to 5 days and reducing operating expenses from 10- 12% to 4-6% . Steve received his BA degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
