Short Biography of Mr. Sunil Lakhani

Mr. Sunil Lakhani is currently Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering at Coherent, Inc., one of the world's leading suppliers of photonics-based solutions such as lasers, laser-based systems, and precision optics. He was formerly the Director of North America Product Engineering at Solectron Massachusetts Corporation. He was a member of the Senior Management Staff as well as Corporate Steering Committees for Optics & Manufacturing Technologies.

Sunil Lakhani possesses over 20 years of diverse experience with major multinational companies including Motorola, Lucent & Philips in consumer electronics, automotive electronics, wireless telecommunications and manufacturing with special emphasis on operations, engineering and technology management. His successes in establishing global strategic alliances with leading edge companies like Seiko, Sony, etc. are published in a book entitled "The Connected Corporation" by Jordan Lewis.

Sunil is an active participant in community development and is actively involved with local trade, academia and professional organizations. He is a member of the Board of Directors at CAFA.
