Short Biography of Udi Meirav

Dr. Udi Meirav has been CEO of Luminus Devices, Inc. since 2003. Luminus, based in Woburn, Massachusetts, develops and manufactures high performance light emitting diodes (LEDs) and solid state lighting solutions based on its proprietary photonic lattice technology. Prior to Luminus he worked with consulting firm Strategic Decisions Group, where he was a Senior Engagement Manager and consulted to numerous companies in technology, consumer products, energy and life sciences. Earlier in his career he was a Senior Scientist in the Weizmann Institute, where he led a compound semiconductor research group. Dr. Meirav holds a PhD in Semiconductor Physics from MIT, and is a Fellow of the Boston University School of Management.
