Title: Communities Powered by Energy of the Future

Tabitha will discuss the practical application of photovoltaics (solar panels) in community development. Her employer is creating the world’s largest solar community in Hawaii, producing 6 MW of power for its residents. The discussion will discuss why solar is an important source of renewable energy and the pros and cons of its use in residential developments.
