Bringing a new product to market with venture capital requires commercial experience plus a combination of technical and business skills. On the education side, this is accomplished in the departmental offerings by combining the MS degree with an MBA. In partnership with the Graduate School of Management (GSM) we offer a dual degree program leading to an MS in Manufacturing Engineering and an MBA. This multi-disciplined program prepares recent graduates or practicing professionals who are committed to careers in industry for positions of technical leadership. Students complete the MBA degree at GSM and the MS degree through the College of Engineering (ENG) via Distance Learning .
