Part One: Getting Started

There are an infinite number of ways to place Blogs into different categories, all of which are somewhat misleading.  Here is one attempt, meant only to demosnstrate the variety of outlets grouped together under the umbrella term "Blog". The examples are culled from some of the blogs I visit regularly.

Experiencial (on-line diary) - Redhead, Wiggles

Referencial (lots of links) Robot Widsom, Fark

Analytic (expert/subject area) -Archeology, Lessig

Educational - Praxis, The Sex Tutorial Weblog

Colaborative - Volokh, WIKIS

Actually, there are as many kinds of blogs as there are blogs in existence. As Dave likes to say, "When the Blogging movement succeeds there will be 200 million political parties in America." Start your party now!
