Introduction:
Shopping is an activity which everyone needS to do, and which most people like to do. However, when you are in a foreign city, it is often difficult to know where to go for different kinds of goods. The object of this unit is to learn about some of the most popular kinds of stores in the United States, and then practice finding some common purchases in specific stores around Boston.
Kinds of Stores:
Department Store: A department store is a large store with different departments which offers a full range of goods for homes, clothes, furniture and gifts. They generally offer a wide range of different high-quality brand names.

Discount Store: A discount store is usually part of a large national or regional chain which offers popular goods at lower prices than department stores. They often have their own in-store brands for many products.

Drug Store: In the United States Drug stores don't only sell medicine. They also sell snacks, cards, stationary, film, batteries and other household items. Many are open 24 hours a day.
