MET IT stands ready to assist with the operation of all faculty and staff computers at MET and SHA. Contact the helpdesk to report problems or schedule an appointments for technical support. Please understand that we are unable to support home computers and laptops used for non work-related purposes. We can not provide software or hardware for personal use. We also cannot support hardware purchased without our authorization and without maintenance contracts.
Faculty and staff laptops provided by MET are pre-configured upon delivery. Any additional software can be installed on request.
MET IT installs and supports shared high-speed network printers in every MET department and/or work area.
Personal printers will be purchased and installed only if requested by Department Chairs/Directors with proper justification. When requesting personal printer exceptions, please consider significantly higher ongoing operational costs for these printers.
