video_conferencingWeb conferencing, Live Classroom, or host a team meeting from your computer (on campus or off) through Adobe Connect. Participants join a virtual conference, engage in discussions while sharing visual information, and collaborate on documents. MET IT offer you the tools to host webinars  and more can all be hosted easily from just about anywhere.

Adobe Connect is a free conferencing option that is recommended for connecting multiple remote participants. This dynamic platform allows video streaming, audio, desktop sharing and document uploading. Instructions (including user guide, setup instructions, etc)  can be added to Blackboard Course sites or emailed to participants outside of the University.

Adobe Connect “Live Classrooms” are a standard service for MET Blended Courses. Allowing students to participate in class the from anywhere in the world.

 

How to Schedule

Please complete the technology request form to schedule a webinar. We can support your requests Monday-Sunday 10am-10pm.  Please plan for additional 30 minutes before the session in order to load your presentation materials, attach the microphone, etc.
