Reset Virtual Labs Desktop

If you are experiencing problems inside the virtual lab, you can always try to reset it to its original configuration.

Please note this will delete any files you have inside the MET VLAB, save your files externally to preserve them.

If using Web Browser Access

(See below if you are using the VMware Horizon Client)

Click on the left tab in the page.

This will open a menu, go to the top and select the options from Met VLAB and then click on “Reset”

Wait a couple of minutes and then try to log in again (The screen will turn gray, wait for 2-3 minutes)

 

Access the VM again by clicking “MET VLAB”

This will reset everything in your virtual lab and you will start from a clean desktop

If using VMware Horizon Client

Go to the top left options and select “Reset Desktop”

Wait for a couple of minutes and the window will close automatically (The screen will not respond to commands, wait for 2-3 minutes)

You will receive this message:

Open your VMware Horizon Client again and log back in

This will reset everything in your virtual lab and you will start from a clean desktop
